What's the difference between Solo and Solo+?
Solo is the full core platform for one agent — your IDX website, CRM, transactions, documents, e-sign, and commission tracking. Solo+ adds the power tools a busy solo agent wants, without adding a team: automatic follow-up, a connected calendar, deeper reporting, integrations, a personal compliance checklist, and the Security Center. No team seats and no brokerage operations.
Does 'compliance review' mean BrokerDrive reviews my files?
No. Compliance review is your own broker's required review. Your broker, transaction coordinator (TC), office manager, team lead, or chosen approver reviews the file inside BrokerDrive. The broker only sees a deal when the law requires a check. BrokerDrive never reviews or approves your files.
Do I need an MLS Grid subscription?
Yes. You bring your own MLS Grid login. We don't resell MLS data. You paste your access token into Workspace settings, and we pull listings into your IDX site. Your MLS login stays yours.
What does 'active seat' mean?
An active seat is a seat you're actually using — an active agent. Suspended or invited seats don't count, so you never pay for an agent who isn't working. On Team, the first seat is the team lead; each added active seat is billed per seat.
Is setup really free?
You can set up and launch any plan yourself at no extra cost. If you'd rather, we move your data over for you — that's a paid service called managed setup. We won't pretend there's nothing you could pay for. You choose.
What's in the client portal toolkit?
Every plan's client portal includes saved homes and searches, a trusted vendor list, financing partners, a mortgage and cash-to-close calculator, document requests, e-sign, and a timeline your clients can see. Solo+ and up let clients save and share calculator scenarios. Brokerage and up add a broker-approved resource library and portal reporting.
Can my agents own their data if they leave?
Yes. Agents keep their own contacts; the brokerage keeps the leads it paid for. This is locked in at the database level. When an agent leaves, their contacts and book of business export cleanly, while brokerage-paid leads stay with the brokerage.
